A Consultation with Sally Ann Hutcheson

What happens?
At the first appointment, I will take a full case history, asking you about your health as well as a much broader picture of who you are-your sleep patterns, dreams, fears, emotions, personality, lifestyle, eating preferences etc. I will then carry out a non-invasive muscle response test. You will remain fully clothed throughout. After the test I will make up the remedies for you, if I have them. Sometimes I will need to order certain remedies, and sometimes you will need to buy them from a health food shop or order them. If this is the case, I will give you full details of where to get them. I will give you clear instructions (both orally and in writing) of how and when to take the remedies, and an explanation of why I am giving you those particular remedies.

For Craniosacral Sessions, see separate page.

How long will the appointment take?
The first appointment takes between 1 hour and 1½ hours. Subsequent appointments take anything up to ¾ hour

What does it cost?
Craniosacral charges are as follows: (these prices are for Totteridge and Barnet Clinics - if you wish to see me in Hampstead, it will cost more. Please phone for details.)

There may be a charge for some remedies
All 'follow-up' and interim telephone calls between appointments  (see below) for current patients are free of charge. If a remedy is required there will be a charge for that.

How can I contact you if I need to between appointments?
I believe it is very important to have access to your practitioner between appointments. Therefore I make myself available by telephone. If I do not answer the telephone, I ask you to leave a message and I will return your call as quickly as possible. This is usually within a few hours, nearly always the same day, but occasionally, if I am away for the day or it is my day off, it will be the next day. If I am away for longer than 1-2 days, you will be able to contact my locum. Telephone is my preferred method of communication in patient follow up care, as there are usually a series of questions I need to ask. How the dialogue develops then depends on your preceding answers. E-mail does not work satisfactorily in this situation.
